Your group's itinerary is worked out with you in advance to ensure your visit is all you hope it to be. A typical visit takes 2.5 hours, including breaks and comprises the following:

• Guided Tour of Kavanagh Country
  
• Exhibition work and worksheets
• Pre-Visit material is included in your package to help you get the most from Kavanagh Country
• Lunch facilities
  

Also available at no charge to our school groups is use of our library facilities, including our video collection.

Primary Schools
An introduction to the world of a child through poetry. Includes workshops, quiz's and teachers' material.
Price per Student: 3.00 Euro

Junior Certificate
Explores the life of the poet, putting it into the context of the times and circumstances Kavanagh found himself in.
Price per Student: 7.00 Euro

Transition Year
'A Sense of Place'. Using Kavanagh's life and his native Inniskeen, students build up a picture of their own locality and the people, events and their influence which have gone before.
Price per Student: 7.00 Euro

Leaving Certificate
The focus is on answering poetry questions in the Leaving Certificate exam, includes a comprehensive lecture, illustrated by the centre's own Leaving Certificate Preparatory Notes.
