Patrick Kavanagh Schools' Poetry Awards 2004
Click here to view the winners (in Junior and Senior Sections) of the 2004 Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Competition for second-level students. Awards were presented to the winners at the Annual Patrick Kavanagh Weekend in Inniskeen on Sunday, 28th November 2004.

The 2004 Annual Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Awards
The results of the 2004 Poetry Competition was announced on Tuesday 5th October,
in the College Hall, Royal College of Surgeons, St. Stephens Green, Dublin.

Tipperary Institute celebrate Kavanagh's life and work as a rural poet

In conjunction with the Patrick Kavanagh Centre Inniskeen, Tipperary Institute are holding a poetry writing competition for second level students. The theme is "My Place".

Deadline for entries - Friday October 22nd 2004.
Presentation to winning entries - to be held Tuesday December 7th 2004.
